Before We Begin Edit Your USPS Account Edit Your USPS Account Details Update Your Origin Address International Settings

There may be times when you need to update the information associated with your USPS account in Postsale.

In this article, we will look at how to:

  • Update your USPS account details in Postsale
  • Edit your USPS account's origin address
    Update the USPS account International settings

Before We Begin

This article assumes that you have at least one USPS account added to Postsale.

Edit Your USPS Account

When you need to update your USPS account information:

Procedure: Settings > Carrier Settings

  1.  Go to Settings.


     
  2. Select Carrier Settings.

    Postsale settings is expanded and carrier settings option is highlighted.
  1. Select USPS from the list of available carriers.   

    USPS is selected in the list of available carriers.   
     
  2. Select your USPS account. Then, click Edit.   

    The USPS account is selected and the edit button is being clicked.

Edit Your USPS Account Details

  1. Click the Edit link in the Account Details section.   

    The edit button is being clicked in the account details section.   
     
  2. Update the appropriate information.   

    The following information can be updated:
    • Nickname: Helps identify the USPS account in Postsale. Useful when you have multiple USPS accounts connected.
    • Your USPS account Customer Registration ID (CRID)
    • Your USPS account Enterprise Payment System (EPS) Account Number
    • Your USPS account Mailer ID (MID)
       
  3. Click the Save button when finished.

    The account details have been updated and the save button is being clicked.
 
 

Update Your Origin Address

  1. Click the Edit Origin Address link in the Origin Address section.   

    The edit origin address link is being clicked.
     
  2. Update the address with the correct information. Then, click Save.

    The address is updated and the save button is being clicked.

The address will now show the updated information.

 
 

International Settings

Use the International Settings section to set the default international settings for your USPS account. 

Select the correct setting from the following options:

  • Bill Duties and Taxes To: 
    • Recipient - The customer pays for customs duties
  • Non Delivery
    • Return
    • Redirect
    • Abandon

The options you select will be applied as the default selection for international shipments, but can be changed on a shipment-by-shipment basis if needed.
