Before We Begin Edit Your UPS Account Update Your UPS Account Details Edit Your Origin Address International Settings

There may be times when you need to update the information associated with your UPS account in Postsale.

In this article, we will look at how to:

  • Update your UPS account details in Postsale
  • Edit your UPS account's Ship From address
  • Update your UPS account International settings

Before We Begin

This article assumes that you have at least one UPS account added to Postsale.

Edit Your UPS Account

When you need to update your UPS account:

Procedure: Settings > Carrier Settings

  1.  Go to Settings.


     
  2. Select Carrier Settings.

    Postsale settings is expanded and carrier settings option is highlighted.
  1. Select UPS.

    UPS is being selected from the list of available carriers.
     
  2. Select your UPS account. Then, click the Edit button.

    The UPS account is selected and the edit button is being clicked.

The following information can be updated:

Update Your UPS Account Details

  1. Click the Edit button in the Account Details section.

    The account details edit button is being clicked.
     
  2. Update the following information as needed. Then, click Save.
  • Nickname: Used to identify this UPS account in Postsale
  • Account Number

    The account details have been updated and the save button is being clicked.
 
 

Edit Your Origin Address

The Origin Address is used as the Ship From address when shipping using your UPS account. To modify the address:

  1. Click the Edit link in the Origin Address section. 

    The edit origin address link is being clicked.
     
  2. Update the address with the correct information. Then, click the Save button. 

    The origin address has been updated and the save button is being clicked.

The address will now show the updated information.

 
 

International Settings

Bill Duties and Taxes To

Sets the default setting when creating an international shipment with UPS. Select who will pay for any import taxes or customs fees from the drop-down menu:

  • Sender – You, the merchant, pay for customs duties.
  • Recipient – The customer pays for customs duties.
  • Third Party – Someone else (like a shipping partner) will pay.
  • Collect – The recipient must pay upon delivery.

The bill duties and taxes to drop-down is expanded and recipient is being selected from the list.
