Connect to & import orders from Shopify
In This Article
Handle your Shopify post-purchase tasks, such as shipping, customer communication, and order management, with Postsale's direct Shopify-certified integration.
Real-World Example
We have a Shopify storefront and would like to connect Postsale so that we can import our orders and manage our shipping and post-purchase tasks. We would like to import orders that have already been placed and have any newly placed orders automatically import into Postsale.
You can do that! In addition, when you create a shipping label in Postsale, the shipment information is sent back to Shopify, and the order status is automatically updated.
This article will walk you through connecting your Shopify store to Postsale.
Before We Begin
- Connecting Postsale to Shopify requires installing the Postsale app from the Shopify App Store. You'll be guided through the process in the following sections of this article.
- When you connect Postsale to Shopify, your Postsale subscription billing moves to Shopify. See Switch to Shopify Billing below for details.

Switch to Shopify Billing
Shopify Billing Requirement
Shopify requires billing for third-party app subscriptions to be managed through Shopify. When you connect Postsale to Shopify, your Postsale subscription moves from Postsale billing to Shopify billing. This changes where you manage and pay for your subscription, but it does not change how you use Postsale.
If you add multiple Shopify stores to Postsale, you can choose which Shopify store handles the billing.
- Click the Continue to Shopify button in the Approve your subscription in Shopify pop-up.

The Shopify billing page will open in your browser.
- Follow the steps to approve Shopify to bill you for your monthly Postsale subscription. Once approved, you will be switched back to Postsale.
- Your monthly Postsale subscription will be billed to the payment method on file in Shopify.
- Additional fees for shipping orders in Postsale, such as adding shipment protection, will continue to be billed to the payment method on file in your Postsale account.
Your Shopify store has been added to Postsale and appears in the list of stores.
